Frankly we wait for moments like this. ANCHORSONG has done it again. Live mpc game mixed with great harmonies...you gotta remember that playing live shows is one thing , but playing live shows and recording your performance simultenously thru midi and actually pulling it off with style is ANOTHER.
MPC is a great instrument, however as we all know can get moody at times.
Anchorsong has a relationship with his gear.. mutual understanding if you will. GREAT WORK.

thanks to SampleKings I got this short but nice and informative clip on E-mu SP1200. Let's be honest and draw some analogies..The mpc is like your sweet young wife and the SP is like a 36 year old super hot neighbour next door that you just wanna ....BUT.. You know that if you were to be together with the neighbour..she is just a bit too old to get mad serious with. So you stick to your wifey/girlfriend cause she is still nice and young...And knows a little more tricks...and works on higher frequencies:) But deep down you always know that the neighbour sounds sooo good and looks even better!! Ladies and Lads ..The one and only E-mu SP1200!!

Rick Rock on the pads. He is stressing the fact how fast he goes on the beats. I would say it is a normal paste for a PRO. Nothing crazy there. What I really liked is his cord progression on the keys, how they grow towards the end of the pattern. And yeah..the snapping snares. Overall a pretty nice "flick". One of those mpc video classics.

SP1200. I am sure if you are into MPC's you kinda dig the SP1200. I know I am. Happy to have found this footage. There is not much videos outhere with this box that I could show..In this little clip Nick goes real simple and quick how to do basic things with the SP. Nothing crazy , but like I said. I am happy to have this baby on in here.
